Each year in March, baseball teams migrate to warmer areas to prepare for the Baseball Season that begins in April. One of baseball's most popular spring training areas is Florida's "Grapefruit League".

The Grapefruit League includes the Astros, Braves, Cardinals, Dodgers, Marlins, Mets, Nationals, Phillies, Pirates, Reds, Blue Jays, Devil Rays, Indians, Orioles, Red Sox, Tigers, Twins, and Yankees. Generally, tickets are available at the various stadiums.

Tampa's Legends Field, a state-of-the-art facility was constructed in 1996 as the site for the New York Yankees spring games and the Tampa Yankees of the Florida St. League. Legends Field is home to Yankee Legends for whom the field is named. Take a trip down memory lane as the greatest Yankees are honored with a retired number and plaque. Bright House Networks Field is the home for the Phillies' spring training games. The ballpark is located on the west side of U.S. Highway 19, adjacent to Carpenter Field. The Phillies have been training in Clearwater, FL since 1948. Carpenter Field, built in 1967, is used in spring training by the Phillies' major league and minor league players, a team in the Gulf Coast Rookie League and the Florida Instructional League. Dunedin has been the only spring home for the Toronto Blue Jays. The Major League players workout at the Bobby Mattick Training Center at Englebert Complex for a couple of weeks in February before moving to Knology Park for the spring training games. Then the minor league players take over the complex. Knology Park (formerly known as Dunedin Stadium) was built in 1990 on the same site as Grant Field. The Tampa Bay Devil Rays play their home spring training games in St. Petersburg, Florida at Progress Energy Park, home of Al Lang Field. The stadium is located in downtown St. Petersburg adjacent to the city's harbor on Tampa Bay's waterfrong, providing gorgeous views of palm trees and sailboats down the left-field line. The Devil Rays are the first major league franchise to train in its home city since 1919 when the St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Athletics both trained at home. Chain of Lakes Park is the seventh Spring Training home for the Cleveland Indians. The beautiful facility was first built in 1966 and then renovated in 1993, raising the seating capacity to 7,000. It's baseball the way you remember it. Chain of Lakes Park is a comfortable stadium where you are so close to the players you can literally reach out and touch them. McKechnie Field, named after Pittsburgh native, former Bradenton resident and Hall of Fame manager Bill McKechnie, was originally built in 1923 and was renovated to become one of baseball's finest facilities between 1991-93. Cracker Jack Stadium is a baseball field located in Walt Disney World, Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The stadium was built in 1997 and holds 9,500 people. It is the spring training home of the Atlanta Braves. Directions at Disney World are clear and plentiful, but there's no signage that points the direction to the ballpark.
