Each year in March, baseball teams migrate to warmer areas to prepare for the Baseball Season that begins in April. One of baseball's most popular spring training areas is Florida's "Grapefruit League".

Dunedin has been the only spring home for the Toronto Blue Jays. The Major League players workout at the Bobby Mattick Training Center at Englebert Complex for a couple of weeks in February before moving to Knology Park for the spring training games. Then the minor league players take over the complex. Knology Park (formerly known as Dunedin Stadium) was built in 1990 on the same site as Grant Field.
